Pictures of the convoy in Placerville and the 1914 Lincoln Highway in El Dorado Hills
The convoy came down 50 from Placerville then turned off onto Bass Lake Road. They then turned onto Old Bass Lake Road. Driving west after a short while there is a sudden change in the pavement (see #1 on the map) which marks the beginning of the 1914 Pavement of the Old Lincoln Hwy. It is a very narrow road and proceeds for about 1.1 miles and ends (#2) at Tong Road. From there they went under the Silva Valley underpass down White Rock Road pasted Town Center onto Stockton and ending in San Francisco.
